Net Archives 2022.
Intercontinental Net.
Section under development.
To move to a net archive page, use the list boxes in the upper-right corner. Select year, net and click on the "Go" button.
NB: Pre-2012 net data are not processed. The Region 3 Net started on February 5, 2017 and ended in 2020.
The following graph and tables provide an overview of the variations in the level of activity for this net and give a general idea of the HF conditions met during the sessions.
-
QNI Graph.
In each month column of this bar graph, the number of participants, Net Control Station (NCS) and participating stations (QNI's), is shown:
- Per week: first week at bottom of column up to fourth/fifth week of the month;
- Per month: red on white background on top of column.
The bottom row in the table shows:
- Total number of sessions;
- Total number of participants;
- Average number of participants per session.
Click on a month name at the top of the graph to jump to the "QNI table" listing all participants per session.
-
QNI Table.
This table lists all net participants per month, week and session. NCS's are marked with "*". "Visitors" are not listed unless they took part in a session. Click on a day date in red to jump to the corresponding report table(s) if available.
-
Report Tables.
These tables compile reception reports received from net participants or listeners (SWL's). NCS's are marked with "*". Each row of a table recapitulates the reports given to the participants by the station listed in the "De" column. Call signs in italics on a different background color in "De" columns indicate reception reports. Reports expressed in decibels, +10dB for instance, must be understood as values over S9.

Sunday, January 2, 2022.
20 m: 1500 - 1535 UTC, 14055 kHz.
Notes:
- De AA7FV: Optional 4-ft active vertical on receive. N2ZUT: About 2 or 3 S-points stronger on my active vertical than the rhombic. I guess the rhombic has a null in your direction!
- De N2ZUT: Interesting conditions this morning. Despite heavy QSB, it was still a fun operating sked. Happy New Year to all!

- De AA7FV: Great to hear everyone. A good start to the SSN year. Please keep safe, enjoy a Happy New Year, and see you next time.
- De F5LAW: Nice sessions in spite of unstable conditions. Sorry, had to go QRT in middle of 17m session. A Happy and Healthy Year 2022 to you and yours fellows.

Sunday, January 9, 2022.
20 m: 1500 - 1523 UTC, 14349 kHz.
Notes:
- De AA7FV: 14349 kHz. (QRM on 14055 kHz). I heard two other stations calling, both very weak and with strong echo. ??? DL2KHU?? RST 219 (I copied a "5" in the call, which might have been an "H" with an echo! Sorry I couldn't do better!) and ?????? RST 119. From the delay on the echo, I'm guessing both unknown stations were in EU. Sorry that I wasn't able to copy better today. VERY poor and disappointing 20m conditions. It was the echo today that made things especially hard.
- De F5LAW: Messages from NCS mostly unintelligible: Echo as strong as signal and deep QSB. Rare peaks at S7, S4 in QSB, QRK 5 on short bits but mostly 2 to 1, whatever the signal strength. Heard PA3BYW calling in but very weak, tried to QSP and called him but was unheard, awful conditions. Didn't hear G4CPA and IZ2XAO on 14055 kHz, only contest QRM so QSY to alt QRG.
- De G4CPA: The QRG was in constant use by various chasers of other group interests. However at 15.00 UTC I had a brief QSO with Luca IZ2XAO rst 599 each way! Then he suddenly disappeared in deep QSB, I didn't cpy anymore SSN stns on other QRGs.

- De F5LAW: What a difference, armchair copy on NCS, very nice chat. Too bad no path to K9TJL.

- De N1EA: I tried to listen and participate today but signals were very weak, I heard Darrel but only weakly, he will have to turn the rhombic for me to make up for poor conditions. I know my antenna is poor but I keep trying.

- De N2ZUT: Greetings from Upstate New York where the temperature is a balmy minus 10! Interesting conditions today.
- De F5LAW: Very rough copy on NCS due to huge echo, tried all bells and whistles of TRX + 2 antennas but no success. S7 on peaks with some deep QSB but would have been QRK 5 all the way without that awful echo.

Just tuning across the band, I did find a few weak Europeans (G, F, I, DL, OK...) audible in Arizona near the bottom of the 20m band in a massive DX pileup, but I suspect they may all have been using high power and beams.

I had my IC705, T1 tuner, Bioenno 9AHr battery and 17/20m end fed wire, high end up 17 ft. I wanted to get setup by 1500, but did not until around 1540 hrs. I heard you Darrel on 20m, strong sig, heard a couple others, but by the time I was ready the net went QNF. I then heard N5DR, 599 in QSO after the net so Darrel I could not give you a call.
