GW0FJT's keys.
Modified Vibroplex Vibrokeyer.
Pros:
- Vibrokeyers are readily available, including spares
- Robust key
- Lots of adjustments possible
- Conversion relatively easy / quick
- Precise feel
- Capable of slightly higher speeds if that is important.
Cons:
- Harder feel than a blade cootie
- Mechanically quite noisey
- Heavier base but still needs sticking to the desk (I haven't found soft enough replacement feet to grip better)
- Two longer American broad threaded screws required for the flat finger pieces, which might be harder to find if you are not in the US.
Conclusion:
A practical and robust cootie with a good feel.
